The 809 fatal falls in 2006 was the third highest total since the year 1992.This is actually when the fatality census began taking records. Occupational fatalities caused by falls remain a serious occupation problem. The US Department says that falls as one of the leading causes of traumatic occupational death, accounting for eight percent of all occupational fatalities. Any time a worker is at a height of four feet or more, the workeer is at risk and needs to have Fall Protection Equipment .The government wants fall protection to be provided at four feet in general industry. Our government follows the same stance so it is important that all your workers in your business if working at height are protected at all times. My friend works as a lecturer and trainer on computer aided design and, as such, she trains many architects, designers and engineers on how to improve their designs. One of the more recent technologies to emerge is that of Revit Families. These Revit Families make it much easier to design and, as such, she has a great deal of people wanting training on them. In fact, she is so busy with people asking for help with Revit Families that she has had to employ more staff to deal with the training. This is a really happy situation for her to be in, particularly in the present economic climate and she is really thankful for all the extra work. Last week, she had a training seminar and the room was so packed there were not enough computers for everyone to work on.
